Hello my fellow artists!

This time I really would like to hear some tips

I've had a problem to find good brush for ink paintings. Any of my brushes doesn't keep in shape while I'm working with ink. I'm using same kind of brushes while working with acrylics and I know that this is not the best choice for ink (synthetic or sable small round brushes).

I would be most happy to hear, which kind of brushes you are using with chinese or antique ink so I can distress my local art shops owner with irritating needs again

What a week! Yesterday was a day, when my team published our project first time in public. The interest towards the project was enourmous and a lot of interested people arrived to our stand at ICT-Showroom (innovation happening in Turku ICT-campus). The interest was through students, developers and even one investor, who want's to see us in work (looking fofward for that).

So, what we are doing? Games! Right now we are working with a classic Point-and-click with fun and absurd story of escaping back to reality (; I'll link more of it at monday, when our Internet page is back in use (now under development).

It's been three weeks now, when I last time slept over 6 hours (most of nights 2-4 hours during this period). There's not anykind of good reason for this and it starts to drive me crazy... or angry at least. Okay, at it makes me able to paint at nights, but that doesn't save too much. In studies I'm really drop in every subject, especially in courses like Integrals and series & algorithms, witch need a lot of mathematical thinking. Even working with animations has became hard, if I want to do good material (and I'm quite perfectionist in that).

If any ideas, how I could work with my insomnia, it would be really cool.

Lately, I haven't been too active here even that I've wanted But the reason isn't so sad! I mean, I'm working on with game graphics, which is fun and different for what I'm usually doing And that is even with the hurry, what we have. Our first deadline is day after tomorrow and we should descripe the game concept and show first playable areas, whew! Almost everything is done for that expect walking loop for there-and-back for main character (most of other characters aren't moving yet in this preproduction).

What kind of game we are doing then? Well, it's old school point-and-click with crazy story and 2D sprite sheet realization! So there's a lot to do, especially for me because I'm only one working with graphics People, who has seen it says that it looks good and cool! I hope, we can keep that up!    

I'll upload something in here, when we have more to show!

I've been quite inactive lately, but that's because my art exhibitions and new ateljé, where I'm hiding It's old bunker from WW II (winter war in finland) and it's only been warehouse of antiquarian bookshop. That means, it's full of old books too, which is really cool actually There hasn't been any kind of renovation after the wars (but electricity) so the atmosphere is very unique. I love it. Cell phones and internet aren't working there so it's very peaceful too!
